This 15 day family tour package offers participants the chance to see wild Thailand as well as rural Thailand. As soft adventures go, this fills all the requirements. It's a trip for anyone and everyone who wants to see the best scenery that Thailand has to offer, while being easy enough to not feel physically challenged. All PaddleAsia tours are flexible. This itinerary can be modified to suit any family's desires.
Day 1 Hotel or airport pick-up and shuttle to Bangroong Pier. Longtail boat transfer to Ko Roi in Phang Nga Bay. Circumnavigate Ko Roi. Transfer to Ko Kudu Yai and Ko Kudu Noi. Explore the islands.
Day 2 Spend the day paddling along the east coast of Ko Yao Yai. This is the largest island in the bay. It has very little in the way of tourism, thus it offers a chance to see the traditional Thai island lifestyle. Day 3 Travel to Laem Deang (Red Point) and paddle along a towering cliff-line. Paddle through a short cave and into a hidden lagoon. The lagoon is over a kilometer long. Day 4 Paddle to a group of small islands. These islands offer a chance to relax on secluded beaches and explore wild rock formations. Day 5 Spend the day exploring the island. Ko Yao Noi is still mostly unaffected by the mass tourism that has spoiled some nearby areas (such as Phuket and Krabi). - Learn how a rubber plantation runs. Day 6 Travel to Ko Khlui and Ko Chong Lat. Circumnavigate
the islands. Transfer to Laem Sak. Travel to Phang Nga Province and check into the guesthouse. Day 7 Visit Raman Forest Park, then visit Manora Forest Park. Both of these small parks have very well-maintained trails and both trails follow beautiful cascading creeks. Day 8 Climb a mountain in Phang Nga Province. This mountain offers some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Southern Thailand. Day 9
Transfer to the dam on the reservoir in Khao Sok National Park. Travel by longtail through one of the most stunning
limestone
karst regions in the world. Day 10 Up with the sun and off on a wildlife-spotting paddle. Return to the bungalows for breakfast, followed by some free time. Midday and afternoon wildlife-spotting paddles. Day 11 Early morning exploration of a different area of the park. Return to the bungalows for breakfast and free time. Midday hiking trip up a small creek. There are some short waterfalls at the beginning of the hike. It flattens out after that. This is a very easy hike. Afternoon paddle in an area different from previous outings. Day 12 This area is actually outside of Khao Sok National Park.
It’s in a wildlife sanctuary called Klong Saeng. Day 13 Early morning paddle near the bungalows. Midday paddle in a different area. Afternoon paddle along the towering cliffs. Transfer to the dam and onward to Krabi Town. Check into hotel in Krabi. Day 14 After breakfast, head to Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Cave Temple). Climb the 1,237 steps to the top of the temple. Lunch in Krabi area. Transfer to Khao Nor Chuchi, home to one of the rarest birds in the world, the Gurney’s Pitta. This small park also has a stunning jungle pool with turquoise-colored freshwater. Lounge in the pool in the afternoon. Day 15 Hike along the many trails in the area. Transfer to the Krabi Airport. End of PaddleAsia services. No experience is needed for any of our trips. The majority of our guests have never paddled before. No problem, we'll teach you proper paddling technique.
