Pang
Nga Bay Budget Kayaking Tour
(BTW, it's actually spelled 'Phang' Nga Bay)
Level:
very
easy
Season: all
year
If
you’re on a budget, we can run a trip that involves more paddling
and less time in the motorized escort boat. The boat is our biggest
expense. It’s not our boat.
Anyway,
if you’re willing and able to do more paddling, we can take
the public ferry out to Ko Yao Noi. Once there, we paddle our kayaks
around to the bungalows up on the east coast of Ko Yao Noi. Take
a look at a satellite map
of Ko Yao Yai and Ko Yao Noi.
The
islands to the east of the big islands are all very interesting.
We could swing out around them then paddle up to the bungalows.
Click here to see a map of Ko
Yao Noi.
From
our base at the bungalows on Koh Yao Noi, there are several days
of paddling destinations available. Basically, we’d follow
the itinerary that we’d use with the standard escort boat
assisted trip. For accessing Laem Daeng, we’d hire a longtail
for the day.
So,
if you’re fit enough to paddle for say, five or so hours per
day, this give you more paddling for less money.
Customized
itineraries are available as well. We're flexible and love
to modify trips to suit our guests.
Prices:
Our
three-day budget kayaking trip costs US$330 per
person. Our four-day budget trip costs US$425 per
person and extra days are at a rate of US$100 per person per day.
This
trip includes:
all transfers from nearest local airport, bus station or train station
(airfare not included), all equipment, accommodations once on the
trip, all meals, all snacks, all non-alcoholic drinks, and insurance.
Plus, you'll receive a complimentary PaddleAsia T shirt.
No
experience is needed for these trips. The majority of our
guests have never paddled before. No problem, we'll teach you proper
paddling technique.
