Short-nosed Fruit Bats are one of the major contributors
to seed dispersion.
Small seeds are usually swallowed with the fruit. While larger
seeds are spit out.

Though not cave-dwelling bats, these lovely creatures find
a different way to hide during the daylight hours.
They often bite the ribs of palm trees to form a make-shift
tent.
They are also often found near cave entrances. or in hollow
trees.
Thirty percent of all mammal species on earth are bats.
