Khao Sok National Park

For Khao Sok, it's best to fly into Surat Thani as it's only a bit over an hour from Surat Thani to Khao Sok.

There is a morning flight departing Bangkok at 10:40 AM. The flight is Thai Airways #TG253. It arrives at Surat Thani at 11:55 AM. We will pick you up at the airport and take you to the dam.

If you plan on being in Phuket before your Khao Sok trip, we will pick you up at prearranged times from either your hotel, Phuket International Airport, or anywhere in the neighboring vicinity.

There are flights daily flights back to Bangkok departing Surat Thani at 7:15 PM and arriving at 8:25 PM. The flight is #TG278 on Thai Airways.

You can also reach Surat Thani by train. There is an overnight train from Bankok to Surat Thani. It arrives just before sunrise. We will pick you up at the station and transfer you to the dam. Check out the Railway System of Thailand website.

Khao Sok is under a three-hour drive from Phuket. If you plan on being in Phuket prior to your trip, you will be taken to Khao Sok via our air-conditioned van.

Once we arrive at the dam, we board a longtail motorboat to get even more remote. It’s a bit over an hour's ride by boat to the floating bungalows. The national park owns these bungalows. They are not owned by PaddleAsia.

Phang Nga Bay

There is a 7:00 AM flight from Bangkok to Phuket on Thai Airways' flight #TG201. It arrives in Phuket at 8:20 AM. We could pick you up at the airport and have you at the pier by about 9:00 AM. That our normal time to start.

Trang

Fly into the Krabi Airport for Trang. It's a 30 minute drive to Ko Lanta and almost two hours to Pakmeng Beach and the Pakmeng Resort.

Unfortunately, there is no early morning flight from Bangkok to Krabi. The first Thai Airways flight is TG247E, which departs Bangkok at 12:30 PM and arrives at 1:50 PM. So, you'll need to fly the day before the trip officially starts unless you want the first day to start with only a late afternoon paddle.

Khao Nor Chuchi Birding

Fly into the Krabi Airport for Khao Nor Chuchi.
